HIGHLIGHTS

The video showcases the phone from the front and back as well as confirms some of the specifications.

Google Pixel 4a will feature a 5.81-inch display with a 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution.

It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset.

Following last year, Google is expected to unveil a lighter variant of its 2019 flagship this year. Recently, the handset appeared online, giving us our first real-life glimpse of 2020’s mid-range offering from the company. Now, a live hands-on video has leaked on YouTube. The video showcases the phone from the front and back as well as confirms some of the specifications.

The video uploaded on YouTube is in Spanish. However, YouTube’s auto-generated and auto-translated subtitles are pretty good. It reveals that the Google Pixel 4a will feature a 5.81-inch display with a 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset. However, there’s no 90Hz refresh rate here. The phone is likely to pack a 3080mAh battery.

On the front lies a selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole notch. It means there will be no Soli chip housed in the head. Hence, it is likely to launch in India as well. Moreover, no Soli chip means better battery life. As previously mentioned, Pixel 4a shares the same design stylings as the Pixel 4 but lacks a glass shade. There's also a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Previously, Pixel 4a was seen sporting a punch-hole screen with a thin outline of bezels on all sides of the display. The White Google Pixel 4a features an orange coloured power button in the renders. On the other hand, the Black model comes with a white power button. The volume rocker is situated on the right edge of the screen, and the bottom edge houses the USB Type-C port and the speaker grille. Moreover, a 3.5mm audio jack is seen on the top edge.
