The Oppo Find X9 could soon become more expensive in India. According to leaks shared online, Oppo may increase the phone’s price by as much as Rs 10,000 across different storage variants. The report has already sparked discussion among buyers, especially since the gap between the Find X9 and the newer Find X9s may become much smaller after the revision. While Oppo has not confirmed the change yet, many believe rising component costs and supply issues could be behind the move. Tipster Sanju Choudhary recently posted on his official X handle that the Oppo Find X9 will receive a price hike of up to Rs 10,000 in India. The tipster claimed that the 12GB RAM + 256GB model of the device, which debuted at Rs 74,999, will soon retail for Rs 84,999. Similarly, the top-end 16GB RAM + 512GB variant will now cost Rs 94,999 instead of its launch price of Rs 84,999.

The difference between X9s and X9 is just ₹5k, at least they haven’t discontinued it so early.
Sanju also pointed out that once the price hike goes through, the difference between the Oppo Find X9 and the Find X9s will be just Rs 5,000. However, he clarified that Oppo has not discontinued the Find X9s so early into its lifecycle, despite the speculation online.
Industry watchers believe that if the price of the device increases, the ongoing global chipset shortage could be one of the main reasons behind it. However, Oppo is not the only one, as other smartphone makers have also increased the price of their smartphones.

Oppo Find X9 specs

The Oppo Find X9 comes equipped with a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel that supports 1.5K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. When used outdoors, the display is well lit and readable, as it boasts up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The makers have also installed the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to guard the display against scratches and unexpected drops.
Under the hood, the device runs on a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is further paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Along with that, the smartphone also comes packed with a 7,025mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
In terms of optics, the handset boasts a Hasselblad-tuned triple-camera setup at the back, including a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. Furthermore, it also comes with a 32MP front-facing camera that helps the users with perfect selfies and video calls.

What did Oppo say?
At the time of writing, Oppo has not made any public announcement regarding a revision in the Oppo Find X9 pricing. The prices on the official website also remain unchanged. However, our sources suggest that if the revision goes ahead, the updated pricing could come into effect from midnight on May 26, 2026. We have reached out to Oppo for comment, but the company has not issued an official statement yet.
