Oppo is scheduled to unveil its new Find X smartphone on June 19, at The Louvre in Paris. However, it seems like we might have gotten an early glimpse at what the smartphone may offer. Twitter user, Ishan Agarwal has allegedly posted specifications of Oppo Find X online. As per his tweet, the Find X is expected to feature a large 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8GB RAM. For storage, the phone is tipped to offer 128GB of inbuilt storage, and the post doesn’t mention if it will be expandable or not. However, the official teaser for the smartphone hints at 256GB of storage. The phone is also tipped to be equipped with a 3730mAh battery and be available in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue colour variants.
As for the camera, the Oppo Find X is tipped to feature a dual-rear camera setup with 20MP + 16MP camera setup. At the front, the phone may come with a 25MP unit. Previous teasers of the smartphone have hinted that the Find X may feature the 5x Dual Camera Zoom technology that the company had showcased during last year’s MWC.
To recall, this technology made use of individual RGB sensors paired to different lens units to deliver wide-angle and lossless telephoto images. The telephoto camera uses a 5-element moving lens and works on the principle of refracted light. It bends the incident light through the telephoto lens by 90 degrees, doing so opens up comparatively more space for moving the lens element, thereby allowing for up to 5x optical zoom.
