OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch its next Nord series smartphone — the OnePlus Nord 5. Known for blending good performance with value-for-money pricing, the Nord series has been a popular choice among mid-range smartphone buyers. While OnePlus hasn’t officially confirmed the Nord 5 yet, several leaks and rumours have surfaced online. The OnePlus Nord 5 will be a successor to the OnePlus Nord 4 phone which was launched last year.

If OnePlus sticks to its typical release pattern, the Nord 5 could make its debut between June and July. Last year, the Nord 4 was launched in July, so it’s likely that the brand will follow a similar schedule this time as well. However, the company has yet to make an official announcement.
OnePlus Nord 5 specs and features
The OnePlus Nord 5 is rumoured to feature a 6.77-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to include an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the smartphone might be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, a toned-down version of the Dimensity 9400.

In terms of photography, the Nord 5 is rumoured to house a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, users can expect a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Furthermore, the phone could pack a 6,700mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. Other expected features include dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, a plastic frame and a glass back.
