OnePlus has announced a special pre-launch offer for its upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 6. Called the ‘Fast AF’ sale, it allows users to pre-book the device to avail additional pre-launch offers on Amazon. In order to avail the offer, users have the option to purchase an Amazon.in e-Gift card with Rs 1,000 that can be used to buy the OnePlus 6 on May 21 and 22. When it redeeming the e-gift card to purchase the device, users will get an additional cashback of Rs, 1,000. The company also notes that the complimentary Rs 1,000 Amazon Pay balance is on addition to any other prevailing launch promotions on the day of the sale. This includes any bank cash back offers. Those interested in availing the offer will have to purchase the OnePlus 6 Amazon.in e-Gift card between May 13 and May 22. In addition to this, buyers will get an extended manufacturer warranty of three months over the existing one year warranty.

Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India said in a press statement, “In a yet another community first initiative, we are excited to introduce our first ever ‘Fast AF’ Sale that offers unparalleled benefits and an assured opportunity to be among the first few to own the latest OnePlus 6 globally.”
To recall, OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 6 on may 16, followed by its Indian launch a day later. The phone will be unveiled at an event in Mumbai, and those interested in attending the event can purchase a ticket. Attendees will be given goodies such as a OnePlus tote bag, baseball cap, and a OnePlus Marvel Avengers limited edition shirt. Amazon Prime subscribers will get early access to the smartphone via a sale at 12PM, May 21. The company has already announced that the phone has already gotten over 1 million ‘Notify Me’ registrations on Amazon India.
The OnePlus 6 was spotted on TENAA a few weeks back. As per the listing, the phone may feature a 6.28-inch Full HD+ display. It is expected to feature a dual-rear camera setup with 12MP + 16MP cameras, while at the front, it may feature a 16MP unit. The company has already confirmed some of the details about the smartphone such as a Snapdragon 845 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The company has also teased other features about the OnePlus 6 such as water resistance, slow motion recording and heart rate sensor.
