OnePlus recently released the OxygenOS 4.1.7 update for the OnePlus 3 and One Plus 3T users are complaining about a bug in the latest OxygenOS 4.1.7 update which is causing an issue with the camera of the device. Many of the users are complaining that since they updated their devices with the latest software package, the autofocus feature of their OnePlus devices has stopped working. Some users tried reaching out to OnePlus via their forums, however, OnePlus has not responded to any of the user’s grievances yet.

The users posted on the OnePlus forum saying that they were unable to focus the camera either in auto or manual mode. Some of the users got in touch with OnePlus service center whose representatives stated that in order to fix the issue, the whole camera setup needs to be replaced. It's not clear yet whether this issue is hardware or software based, however as many users started facing this issue after the latest OxygenOS 4.1.7 update, the issue may be software based. OnePlus is usually quick to resolve such major issues when users report it, however, this time OnePlus seems to be slow in taking heed of user’s dilemma.

The latest update for OnePlus 3/3T was the OxygenOS 4.1.7 and it brought several improvements to the device such as a touch latency fix and app lock issues. The bugs fixed involved users experiencing sound channel errors while recording videos, calls being routed to the speaker accidentally by some third party apps and rendering issues in the Kannada language. OnePlus has also confirmed that Android Oreo will be the last major OS update for OnePlus 3 and 3T.
