After the Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro, the company has introduced another mid-range option called the Nothing Phone 3a Lite globally. As the name suggests, the smartphone is positioned below the Nothing Phone 3a and will be introduced in India later this year. The Nothing Phone 3a Lite features a 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display with FHD+ (1080 x 2392) resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. It supports 10-bit colour depth, delivering over a billion colours with vivid contrast, and includes 2160Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G chipset, built on a 4nm TSMC process, paired with an 8-core CPU clocked up to 2.5GHz. It comes with 8GB of RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 2TB.
The device is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 33W charging. The device also supports 5W reverse wired charging.
On the software front, the Phone 3a Lite runs Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, bringing minimal interface with AI tools, custom widgets, and enhanced privacy features such as Private Space and App Locker. The company promises three years of major Android updates and six years of security patches.
Cameras
For optics, the Phone 3a Lite is equipped with a triple rear camera system, headlined by a 50MP main sensor (1/1.57-inch Samsung sensor) with OIS and EIS. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a macro shooter. The camera system supports Ultra XDR, Night Mode, and Motion Capture, along with AI-powered TrueLens Engine 4.0 for improved colour accuracy and dynamic range. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera handles vlogging and video calls, with support for 4K video recording at 30fps and 1080p slow-motion at 120fps.
The Nothing Phone 3a Lite boasts IP54 dust and water resistance. It supports Dual 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a 360° antenna system for stable connectivity.
