Nokia's budget Windows Phone 8 device, the Lumia 620 is now available in India for Rs. 14,999. The Lumia 620 was expected to be available in India in February 2012 but has seen the light of day in March.

The Nokia Lumia 620 was announced in December last year and was Nokia’s budget offering for the Windows Phone 8 enthusiast. The smartphone was expected to go on sale in February 2013 but was delayed. It is now available to users who wish to buy it at Rs. 14,999 though, via the Nokia e-shop, with a delivery time of 7 working days.

The Lumia 620 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and 512MB of RAM. It features a 3.8-inch 800×480 pixel ClearBlack display. Other features include a 5MP rear camera with 720p HD video recording, VGA front-facing camera, 8GB of built-in storage (expandable via microSD card to 64GB), and a 1,300mAh battery. Users also get 7GB of SkyDrive cloud storage with the smartphone.

Apart from 3G connectivity, the Lumia 620 also supports Wi-Fi a/b/g/n connectivity. It will come with a vivid variety of switchable back panels or coloured shells. We have spent some time with the Nokia Lumia 620. You can take a look at our first impressions of the device here.

The device is available at a 3 month and 6 month EMI scheme on Nokia’s e-shop website where users will pay Rs. 5,000 a month for the three month scheme or Rs. 2,500 per month for the 6 month scheme.
