HMD Global and Airtel have teamed up to offer a Rs 2,000 discount on the Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 smartphones. This new deal comes as part of Airtel’s ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative and under the offer, both the Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 will come bundled with Airtel's Rs 169 recharge which offers 1GB 4G data per day along with unlimited Local and STD calls. However, it should be noted that buyers will need to pay the entire amount of the two smartphones as down payment, which is Rs 9,499 and Rs 6,999 for the Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 respectively.
Additionally, a customer needs to perform recharges amounting to Rs 3,500 within the first 18 months of purchasing the Nokia 2 or the Nokia 3 smartphones. They will then receive an initial cashback of Rs 500. Then, they again have to perform recharges worth Rs 3,500 over the next 18 months to be eligible for another cashback of Rs 1,500.

In terms of hardware, the Nokia 3 sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It is equipped with a 2630 mAh battery and features an 8MP sensor for both the front and back camera setup.
The Nokia 2 features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. On the front, it comes with an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing sensor. The device is powered by a 4100mAh battery and currently runs on Android Nougat, with a promise of being directly updated to Android 8.1 Oreo.
