Motorola seems to be introducing its flip-style foldable anytime soon. The latest reports suggest that the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra was spotted on China’s TENAA database. It suggests a familiar design with hardware tweaks. This comes shortly after the vanilla trim reportedly cleared certification, suggesting that the full lineup will be revealed soon. While Motorola has remained tight-lipped about the series, the reports have offered a glimpse at the specs and possible launch timeline.

Motorola has not announced any plans yet, but the TENAA and 3C certifications hint that the Razr 70 series may launch by May. The appearance of both the standard and Ultra variants suggests that the company is preparing for a full series reveal in the coming weeks.

The Motorola Razr 70 series price is yet to be announced. Looking at the previous generation model, the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra could be priced at Rs 99,999 in India. On the other hand, the Motorola Razr 70 could be priced at around Rs 60,000.

The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is said to offer a 6.9-inch foldable OLED inner display and a 4-inch cover screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness. It can feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 5) chipset and may get up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 internal storage. It can feature a 5,000mAh battery and support 68W wireless charging, 50W wireless and 5W reverse charging.

As for the camera, the device may offer 50MP primary and 50MP ultrawide sensors. It will also have a 50MP selfie camera.

On the other hand, the Razr 70 is expected to feature a 6.9-inch foldable OLED main display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 3.63-inch external OLED screen. In terms of performance, it is likely to be powered by an octa-core chipset, possibly the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage, with higher-end variants going up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The smartphone is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W wired and up to 25W wireless charging.

For photography, the device could offer a dual rear camera setup with two 50MP sensors, while the front may house a 32MP selfie camera.
