Motorola is set to expand its Edge lineup with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro in India. The smartphone will join the Motorola Edge 70, which debuted last year. While the company has not officially revealed the specifications, leaks, rumours and teasers have offered a clear idea of what to expect. The device’s microsite is already live, and Motorola has begun highlighting key features such as AI-powered low-light photography, along with details about the camera, performance and colour options. Motorola has been teasing the device on its official social media platforms for some time now. The smartphone will launch in the Indian market in three colour options: Lily White, Tea, and Titan.
Moreover, all three variants are expected to feature distinct finishes. The new Tea option will likely sport a satin luxe finish, while the Titan variant may come with a familiar fabric finish, and the Lily White version is expected to feature a marble finish.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro specs (Expected)
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is anticipated to make its debut with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset. Aside from that, it’s also tipped to come with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage that goes up to 512GB.
The buyers can also expect the device to feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel coupled with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Leaks also suggest that the display may reach a peak brightness of 5,200 nits when used in bright light. Furthermore, the display is also said to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro will likely boast a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery that may support 90W of TurboPower fast charging. Out of the box, the smartphone is expected to ship with Motorola’s Hello UI, which is an Android 16-based skin, and receive support for Moto AI. The device is also said to receive 3 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.

In terms of optics, the smartphone may come with a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto sensor. It will also likely come equipped with a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

While Motorola has not disclosed many details yet, the company has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro will launch on April 22.
