Next phone from Micromax to feature liquid cooling, high refresh rate and more

Micromax In Note 1 starts at Rs 10,499 in India

Micromax In Note 1 and In 1B were both launched in November and marked the company’s comeback into the Indian smartphone market. The In Note 1 has gone on sale already and was met with positive response as the company announced it was sold out within minutes. The In 1B could not go on sale as scheduled due to some logistics issue and is set to go on sale at a later date.

Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax along with Sunil Joon, Product Head recently released the first episode of 'Let’s talk India ke liye' where the duo answered some pertinant questions around the In Note 1 and In 1B along with giving us an overview of where the company is headed, going forward. In the video, it is revealed that the next phone by Micromax could feature a high refresh rate screen, liquid cooling along with 6GB of RAM.

Answering queries from users across social media platforms, Sharma also states that while both the phones are being made in India, not all components are manufactured in India yet. As an example, he revealed that the battery of the In Note 1 is still being sourced from China because the company could not get the necessary certification to manufacture it in India. However, the battery inside the In 1B is made in India.

While giving time to many user queries, Sharma also announced that the back cover for the In Note 1 was available now and will start shipping in-the-box. Moreover, existing buyers of the In Note 1 will also receive the back cover soon.

The new Micromax phones are currently exclusive to Flipkart but the company is planning to make them available in offline stores as well. Additionally, the company has also released a WhatsApp number where users can directly reach out to the company in case of any suggestions, issues and more.
