The Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 is the successor to the Nitro A310 with a slight spec bump.
Micromax has silently put up the Canvas Nitro A311 for sale at a price of Rs. 13,580 via Snapdeal. By the looks of it, it appears very similar to the older Canvas Nitro.
Inside, the new phone has almost the same specs as its older version, the A310. It is powered by the same 1.7GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592 chipset along with 2GB RAM. It has a 5-inch screen with 720p resolution and the same 2500mAh battery. It also uses the same 13MP camera rear and the 5MP front-facing camera.
The only thing that is different here is the 16GB internal storage which is an upgrade over the 8GB internal storage on the old Canvas Nitro A310. The phone’s storage can be expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB and it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.

Currently the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 is available via Snapdeal only but if we take Micromax’s track record into account, the new Nitro may be available with other e-commerce websites later on.
