Micromax introduces the Bolt series with the launch of A35

Micromax has introduced the Bolt category with the launch of its new phone - A35. The device runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and boasts of a 1GHz processor all for Rs. 4,250.

Micromax has launched the Bolt series of devices with the launch of the A35. Micromax says that the Bolt A35 boasts of a ‘Flash Transfer’ app for better file sharing experiences, making it easier and faster for users to share images, videos, songs and more.

Flash Transfer enables users to share apps, games, photos, videos, songs and more with a swipe. Users can drag content across the screen or simply shake and share seamlessly between Android devices. The Flash Transfer app works on Wi-Fi, making one of the devices a Hotspot and sharing files over the private network via “Flash Transfer” App to keep the action going even without any data connectivity.

In terms of other specifications, the Bolt A35 runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and has a 1GHz processor. It has a 4-inch display, 16GB expandable storage, a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front facing camera. It houses a 1500mAh battery which the company claims will last users for 4.5 hours of talktime.

The Bolt A35 is available across all leading retail outlets in India for Rs. 4,250.

Apart from the latest addition of Bolt, Micromax already has the Ninja, Smarty, Canvas and the Canvas HD series of devices in its portfolio.
