Lenovo A7000 launched in India at Rs. 8,999

Lenovo's latest budget smartphone has debuted in India. Priced below Rs. 10,000, the smartphone will compete against a range of budget Android phones.

Lenovo today launched its much awaited A7000 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the smartphone will be available via Flipkart. Registrations begin today at 2pm, while first sale takes place on April 15.

The Lenovo A7000 had been announced in March ahead of the MWC 2015 along with the Vibe Shot. The A7000 is a 5.5-inch smartphone with HD display, ultra-wide viewing angles and Dolby's Atoms technology. The smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and is powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 2GB of RAM.

It sprots an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE  and dual-SIMs. The A7000 is 7.9mm thin, weighs 140 grams and comes in two colors: Onyx Black or Pearl White.
