Alleged images of Huawei’s upcoming flagship phones, the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 pro, surfaced online via twitter today, revealing the front designs of both the smartphones. The images show the front display of both the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro along with their pricing. According to the leaked image, both the smartphones will be sporting the same height, but the Mate 10 Pro seems to be slightly wider and the home button is missing on it as well. 

According to details leaked along with the image, the Huawei Mate 10 will sport a 5.9-Inch univisium display with 18:9 aspect ratio and is expected to be IP67 compliant. The smartphone is expected to sport a 4,200mAh battery. The Mate 10 is rumoured to be offered in three variants of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for CNY4,299 (Rs 42,030 approx directly converted), 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage for CNY4,899 (Rs 47,896 approx directly converted) and 6GB RAM coupled with 256GB storage at CNY5,599 (Rs 54,740 approx directly converted).

Coming to the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, the image shows the smartphone missing its home button and details reveal that the fingerprint scanner will be placed on the rear. The whole front panel seems to be taken up by the EntireView screen. Teasing a nearly bezel-less display and curved edges, the smartphone is expected to come with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 4,200 mAh battery. The Mate 10 Pro is also expected to be sold in four variants – three 6GB RAM and one 8GB RAM.

Both the Huawei Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro are likely to sport the same chip, the Kirin 970. The SoC was highlighted for its AI capabilities, which the company refers to as the Neural Processing Unit (NPU). The AI onboard facilitates for faster offline data processing and is supposed to enable the Mate 10 to achieve faster data transfer capabilities of up to 1.2Gbps and offer concurrent dual-SIM 4G support. The company also said that due to the AI housed inside the chip itself, it can process data and light signals much faster and in a much more intelligent manner.
