The rumor market is filled with rumors every now and then, and if the latest rumors are to believed then the LG Nexus 2015 might also come with fingerprint scanner. Earlier, the fingerprint scanner was confirmed, only for the next-gen phablet Huawei Nexus device. The rumor has been posted by the Korea Herald, and the report further goes on to say the LG manufactured Nexus device will have a 5.2" display along with a lot of features like Android Pay. They have also said that the report has been confirmed by a "market official." Other than these rumors, an image has been posted by @onleaks which shows a TPU case made for next-gen LG Nexus device.

LG Nexus 2015 is one of the two Nexus devices, other being made by Huawei, which Google is planning to relase this year. The LG Nexus is rumored to have 5.2-inch dispaly, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, 13MP rear camera, and a 3,180mAh battery. It will be their third Nexus device after Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. As for Huawei Nexus, it will be a bigger device. According to @evleaks, Huawei Nexus is expected to have 5.7-inch QHD with metal body, Snapdragon 820 SoC, fingerprint scanner, and it will most probably ship in Q4, 2015. There are also rumors that there will be no Nexus tablet this year and Nexus 9 will continue as the Nexus tablet.

Besides these Nexus devices, Google is also working on the development of the next version of Android called Android M. Android M will bring advanced privacy settings, native support for fingerprint scanning, and a focus on battery life, among many of the new features. Google announced Android M at this year's Google I/O event held at San Francisco, California.
