Lava has finally introduced its next-generation Agni smartphone, the Agni 4, in India. The device comes with an aluminium alloy frame and is positioned as the brand’s most advanced device yet. The device also features a new Vayu AI system and upgraded hardware across performance, display, and battery. The device also offers a big design change compared to its predecessor, Agni 3. The Agni 4 has a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a local peak brightness of up to 2400 nits. It features 10-bit colour output, slim bezels, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 5G chipset, which is built on a 4nm process, clocked up to 3.35GHz. It includes a vapour chamber cooling system and Game Booster mode. The phone comes with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM (expandable to 16GB) and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. The Agni 4 has a 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging, which can reach 50 pct in under 19 minutes, and runs stock Android 15 with no pre-installed third-party apps.
The device also includes Vayu AI, which includes several expert AI agents such as math and English tutors, call summarisation tools, photo editing features, system-level AI control, Circle-to-Search, and an on-screen live companion.
In terms of the camera, the device has a 50MP OIS-enabled primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 50MP front-facing camera, like the rear unit, supports 4K 60fps recording.
Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, 14 5G bands, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C 3.2, IR blaster, customisable Action Key, X-axis linear motor, and an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating.
Lava Agni 4 price in India and availability
The Lava Agni 4 is priced at Rs 24,999, with a Rs 2,000 discount available on all bank debit and credit cards, bringing the effective price down to Rs 22,999. The phone will be available in an 8GB + 256GB configuration and will go on sale on Amazon on November 25, 2025, at 12 PM.
