InFocus has launched a new budget device called the Turbo 5. The phone will be exclusive to Amazon and is available in two variants. The 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant is available at Rs 6,999, while the one with 3GB RAM/32GB storage is available for Rs 7,999. The phone will be available from July 1 in two colours, Pure Gold and Mocha Gold.

The phone sports a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 processor with a Mali T720 MP1 GPU. At the back of the device is a 13MP primary camera with a f/2.2 aperture lens, while at the front is a 5MP unit. The highlight of the device is its huge 5000mAh battery, which can be used to charge other devices. The phone supports 4G VoLTE and is one of the few to offer Android Nougat at this price range.

For its price, the Infocus Turbo 5 will go up against other devices like the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and the Yu Yureka Black. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 platform. At the back of the device is a 13MP camera, while at the front is a 5MP camera. The 2GB RAM/16GB storage version is available for Rs. 6,999, while the 3GB RAM/32GB storage version is available for 8,999.

The Yureka Black is the newest phone from Yu and sports a 5-inch Full HD display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 430 platform with 4GB of RAM. The device is equipped with a 3000mAh battery and offers 32GB of storage. The phone is priced at Rs. 8,999.
