“We believe that specs are not the only consideration while buying a smartphone today; the look and feel plays a huge part in consumer’s buying decision. Increasingly, consumers are going for a device where the design reflects their personality and distinct them from the crowd. Metal is the ultimate hallmark of premium looks and sturdy body, which is what we bring with InFocus M535, the only metal body smartphone at Rs.9,999. With this product, we completely change the rules of the game for the under-10k category in the country and offer our customers the best possible value for their money.” said, Sachin Thapar, Country Head, InFocus India.

At just 6.99mm the phone is quite thin and weighs 158 grams. There is a 2,600 mAh sealed in battery. The phone runs on Infocus’ custom Inlife UI which is layered on top of Android 5.1 The design of the phone is quite derivative and it does remind us of the M812 which came out earlier this year. The phone is available in two colour options — Gold and Silver. The phone brings a very similar spec sheet to the table when compared to other phones in the category. At this price, it will be going against phones like Meizu M2 Note, Yu Yureka and the Lenovo K3 Note.
