Huawei will introduce the successor to the Honor 6, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus, in India this month.
Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei will launch its Huawei Honor 6 Plus smartphone in India before the end of this month. The smartphone grabbed the headlines with its three 8MP cameras. The Huawei Honor 6 Plus can be considered as an upgrade to the well received Huawei Honor 6.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus smartphone gets a screen size increase over the Honor 6 and has a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 925 SoC. This is the successor to the Kirin 920 used in the Honor 6. The phone will also come with 3GB of RAM. As for the storage, Huawei had announced two models with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage but we are not sure whether both of them will launch in India.
The highlight of the upcoming Honor 6 Plus is its dual 8MP cameras at the back which Huawei claims will offer better low light performance. The dual symmetrical cameras take the effective pixel size to 1.98 microns. The smartphone will also have an 8MP wide-angle front shooter for all your selfie needs.
Pricing and specific date of availability is not yet confirmed but it is likely that Huawei will price the Honor 6 Plus very competitively.
