Vivo has announced the V29 series in India and the smartphones maintain the good-looking decorum this year as well. The V29 series includes two models; the standard model and the Pro model. Both smartphones have been announced under ₹40,000. The Vivo V29 Pro features a 3D particle technology on the back that looks stunning. It comes in two colour options; Himalayan Blue and Space Black.
I am comparing the all-new Vivo V29 Pro with the OnePlus 11R, which is currently priced the same as the Vivo’s new V29 Pro.

Vivo V29 Pro VS OnePlus 11R: Display
The Vivo V29 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display that supports HDR10+, 10-bit colour, and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
The OnePlus 11R has a 6.74-inch AMOLED display that has a 1240 x 2772 pixel resolution. The display of the OnePlus 11R also supports HDR10+, 10-bit colour, and 120Hz refresh rate.
Vivo V29 Pro VS OnePlus 11R: Performance
The Vivo V29 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 13 skin based on Android 13.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 11R operates on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is last year’s flagship chipset. The processor is coupled with up to 16GB RAM. It also runs on Android 13-based Oxygen OS 13.
Vivo V29 Pro VS OnePlus 11R: Camera
Vivo offers cameras with brilliant photography features in the V series. This year, the V29 Pro comes with a unique Smart Aura Light. It’s a ring light on the back placed inside the camera module that can change its colour. The V29 Pro has a triple camera setup on the back, holding a 50-megapixel OIS IMX766 main sensor, a 12-megapixel Depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel selfie shooter.
The OnePlus 11R boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera with PDAF and OIS support, an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel Macro sensor. It features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

Vivo V29 Pro VS OnePlus 11R: Price and availability
Vivo rolls out the V29 Pro in India at a starting price of ₹39,999. However, the brand is currently running a ₹3,500 instant discount on HDFC and SBI bank cards. It will be available for purchase on Flipkart from October 10.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 11R is available on Amazon at the same price of ₹39,999.
