Honor has been offering some really good phones lately and according to this latest leak, there is a new one around the corner. Honor has sent out invites for the launch of the Honor 8, which is scheduled to launch on July 8. According to GizmoChina, the new teaser was put up by Huawei Honor’s President of Business, Zhao George on Weibo. Earlier today, the upcoming Honor 8 was also spotted in TENAA, the Chinese certification agency. The listing gives us clear look of the phone from both front and back. It also divulges some key specifications of the smartphone such as the phone will be sporting a dual rear camera setup.

The Honor 8 is supposedly powered by a Kirin 950 SoC. This octa-core SoC was announced back in November and the Honor V8 already sports the same. It features a big.LITTLE architecture and makes use of ARM’s Cortex A-53 and A-72 cores. It is made using the 16nm FinFET fabrication process. On the graphic front, the chipset features a Mali T880MP4 GPU. The Honor 8 features a 5.2-inch display with a 1920 x 1080p resolution. The listing suggests that the phone will be offered in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. Also, there will be 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options.

The camera might be the best part here as the listing suggests that Honor 8 will feature a dual 12MP camera setup and an 8MP camera at the front. There phone will be running on Android 6.0 out of the box and will support dual-SIMs. The device will use USB Type-C port for data and will be charging a 2900mAh non user-replaceable battery.
