Honor 6X leaked via TENAA, may launch on October 18
HIGHLIGHTS

The Honor 6X is expected to house a 5.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM and dual-cameras.

Huawei may launch the much-rumoured Honor 6X on October 18 in China. The upcoming smartphone, which will replace the Honor 5X in the budget segment, was spotted on TENAA. According to the leaked image, the phone looks very similar to the Honor 5X, except for the dual-camera setup. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Apart from the image, some specification of the Honor 6X were also leaked. According to GizmoChina, the device will sport a 5.5-inch display, with possible screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It is supposed to be powered by a Kirin 650 SoC, the same one used on the Honor 5C. The leak also suggest that the device will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. As for the camera, reports suggest that the dual-camera setup will be using 12MP+2MP camera sensors. The 12MP camera will be the main camera and the 2MP secondary camera is likely to be used to create added depth of field. All of this may be powered by a 3340mAh battery.

The report also claims that the Honor 6X is already in production, and launch may not be too far away. Honor is likely to bring the phone to India within a few weeks of its launch in China, and a possible date of October 18 has been marked for its launch.
