The Honor 5C is the newest smartphone launched by the brand and offers a host of impressive features at a price of Rs. 10,999. While the phone is up against a lot of competition at this price point, the Honor 5C sports a number of features that make it stand out from the crowd. Powerful Kirin 650 SoC
At the heart of the device is a powerful octa-core Kirin 650 SoC that is manufactured using a 16nm FinFET process. In order to ensure optimal efficiency, the processor sports a big.LITTLE architecture that consists of four 2.0GHz high performance cores and four 1.7GHz lower performance cores. The high performance cores are suited heavy tasks such as gaming, while the lower performance cores are used for general tasks. Further, the company says that the high efficiency cores deliver a 65 percent increase in performance and a 40 percent decrease in power consumption. The Honor 5C sports a compact 5.2-inch Full HD display. Further, the phone offers a 74 percent screen to body ratio with a low-reflection, fully laminated LTPS GFF screen. The Honor 5C is built using aircraft-grade aluminium-alloy and finished with a brushed metal effect, which gives it a premium look and feel. There is also a scratch-resistant anodized coating that helps to protect against corrosion as well as everyday wear and tear. Further, the Honor 5C is also the first model that is built according to Huawei’s 3.1 quality assurance standards. Besides the build, call quality of the phone is also quite impressive.
