Google is expected to launch its second generation of Pixel devices tonight alongside a bunch of other devices. However, it seems like buyers might have have to wait a while before they get their hands on the devices. According to VentureBeat, The Pixel 2 will be available from October 19, while the Pixel 2 XL may be available from November 15.

Previous leaks have already given us a fair idea of what to expect from the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The Pixel 2 is expected to sport a 5-inch Full HD display with a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. It will most likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset with 4GB of RAM. it is expected to be available in two variants, 64GB and 128GB variants. Unlike most current generation flagships, the phone may come with a single 12MP rear camera.

The Pixel 2 XL is supposed to be quite similar to the standard Pixel 2 in terms of camera, SoC, RAM and storage variants, but with a larger display. The phone is tipped to feature a 6-inch display, but with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Both devices will come with Google Assistant, but the Pixel 2 XL is tipped to support a new Active Edge feature that will allow users to bring up the assistant by squeezing the phone. 

According to Droid Life, the Pixel 2 will be be priced at $649 (approx Rs 42,200) and $749 (approx Rs 48,700) for the 64GB and 128GB variants respectively. The Pixel 2 XL may be priced at $849 (approx Rs 55,200) and at $949 (approx Rs 61,700) for the 64GB and 128GB variants. 

Besides the two smartphone, Google is also expected to unveil the Home Mini Speaker, a IoT speaker similar to Google Home. It may also unveil a high performance Chromebook called the PixelBook as well as the Daydream View 2 VR Headset.
