The official teaser also showcases a circular light ring integrated into the rear camera bar, beside camera sensors. Google refers to this feature as Pixel Glow, and reports suggest it can replace the conventional LED flash while also serving as a visual notification system. The colourful lighting effect closely resembles the animated colours used across Google’s AI interface.

Google has also sent invitations for the August 12 event highlighting Gemini Intelligence hinting that the company will unveil new AI-powered capabilities alongside its upcoming hardware. The keynote will stream globally, with the event beginning at 3:30 AM IST on August 13 for Indian viewers.

The company has also confirmed that the Pixel 11 pre-orders will start immediately after the launch event. While the company is offering promotional discounts for eligible customers in the US who register through the Google Store before August 7, no similar launch offer has been announced for India yet.
