HIGHLIGHTS
Google is gearing up for its next big hardware launch event on August 20, introducing its next generation of Pixel devices, including Pixel 10 series, Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a. While the phones are still expected to arrive on time, some of the other exciting products in the lineup may not hit store shelves as soon as fans expected. According to a recent report, three out of six devices could be delayed until October.
SurveyAccording to a report from WinFuture, Google is dealing with supply chain hiccups that could delay the launch of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a. Though these products will still be unveiled at the August event, buyers might have to wait until October 9. The reason behind the delays is not clear, but the report suggests that new components in the foldable and wearables might be causing production slowdowns.
On the bright side, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are still expected to go on sale by August 28, just a little over a week after the big reveal. This could disappoint users, especially those eyeing the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which now risks falling further behind Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7.
The delay of the Pixel Watch 4 is also a missed opportunity for Google, as it will give more time to Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 8 to impress smartwatch buyers. It’s also frustrating for Pixel buyers from an ecosystem perspective, as many were likely hoping to grab a Pixel phone, watch, and earbuds all at once. But the delay may make buyers wait a few more weeks.

Meanwhile, Pixel 10 Pro Fold is likely to offer a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, up from 2,700 nits on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It could be backed by Google’s next-generation Tensor G5 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM, under the hood.
Additionally, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is rumoured to house a 5,015mAh battery, a notable 7% increase from last year’s model and 9% larger than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7. On the camera front, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to ship with a 48MP main sensor, a 10.5MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a 10MP selfie camera.
