LG has launched the dual-SIM variant of its Optimus Net smartphone, LG Optimus Net P698 in India. Priced at Rs. 11,000, the Optimus Net P698 is being pitted against the likes of MicroMax Superphone A75 and Spice Mi280.

The LG Optimus Net P698 runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by an 800MHz processor. The Optimus Net sports a 3.2 inch capacitive display with 320×480 pixels resolution, 3MP auto-focus camera, and 1,500mAh battery. The P698 bears 150MB of built-in storage and comes with a 2GB microSD card in the box, supporting cards up to 32GB. Check out the full specifications of the LG Optimus Net P698 here.

With the new Optimus Net P698, unveiled in December last year, LG has joined the dual-SIM segment, presently dominated by Samsung and Micromax. Nokia recently joined the dual-SIM fray with its dual-SIM Asha 200 and X2-02 phones.
