While this update doesn’t introduce major system changes, it focuses on improving daily experiences and refining design details. One of the most important additions is more information about Enhanced Safety Alerts, which help users stay informed during emergencies like earthquakes or floods. The Measure app now sports a Liquid Glass design for the level tool. Instead of the old white circles, users will see two smooth, liquid-like bubbles. The Games app gets a new way to organise the library. MacRumors reports that there’s now an option which let users sort games by size, alongside existing Name and Recent options. Meanwhile, in CarPlay, Apple has added support for disabling pinned messages in the Messages app.

Apple has also detailed its Enhanced Safety Alerts, introduced in the previous beta. These alerts notify users of emergencies, such as earthquakes or floods, using available connections like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or mobile data. They are on by default and can be managed under Settings > Notifications > Enhanced Alerts. Users can also enable Improve Alert Delivery for faster updates without sharing their exact location.

Registered developers can download the iOS 26.2 beta 2 from the Settings app. Just head to the General section and select Software Update. iOS 26.2 is compatible with all devices that support iOS 26.
