Apple is preparing to launch its iPhone 17 series in the global market. This year’s lineup is said to include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, also known as the iPhone 17 Ultra. Among the entire lineup, the iPhone 17 Pro Max has been making headlines for potential design and hardware updates. It may also include new features, such as a revamped Siri.

New design

Finally, Apple fans may see some design shifts. While it is not confirmed, the changes are tipped to be minor. The iPhone 17 Pro Max may get a rectangular camera island with a similar triangular camera setup. The flash and LiDAR are said to be placed on the right side. Apple may also move back to the aluminum frame along with the glass back, moving away from the Titanium frame.

Camera

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is said to have an upgraded camera setup. Now, the fans may see a triple 48MP camera including a new 48MP telephoto sensor, replacing the 12MP found on iPhone 16 Pro Max. On the front, the device may offer an upgraded 24MP selfie camera.

Performance

Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max may come powered by the new A19 Pro chipset. It may get enhanced 12GB RAM to support Apple Intelligence. The company may come with a dedicated vapour cooling chamber to maintain the thermals. It may also feature the company’s in-house Wi-Fi 7 chip.

Display

According to leaks, the iPhone 17 Pro Max may have a larger panel with an anti-reflective coating, which will be more effective at preventing scratches than the Ceramic Shield used in the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Battery

The iPhone 17 Pro Max may get a slightly bigger battery compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It is likely to offer an enhanced video playback. However, the leaks have not confirmed the development but the potential design changes hint that Apple is planning to fit in a bigger battery.
