This new model might replace the current Plus variant. Interestingly, there are also rumours that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be replaced with an Ultra model.

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to feature a new design with an ultra-slim body. Rumours suggest it could be just 6mm thick, making it significantly thinner than the iPhone 16, which is 7.8mm. This sleek design could help the Air stand out from the rest of the lineup.
The rumoured iPhone 17 Air is likely to have a 6.6-inch OLED display with support for 120Hz ProMotion. In the camera department, this device is rumoured to feature a 48MP main sensor along with an ultra-wide lens. On the front, there could be a 24MP selfie camera, which would be a big jump from current models.
Under the hood, the phone is expected to run on Apple’s A19 chip, which hasn’t been officially announced yet. Furthermore, it could come with 8GB of RAM and some leaks suggest the inclusion of an in-house Wi-Fi chip.

Apple hasn’t revealed any official pricing yet, but the iPhone 17 Air could be priced slightly higher than the current Plus model. In India, it might launch at around Rs 95,000.
