Apple iPhone 12 mini could possibly be the name of the smallest iPhone 12 model, according to the latest leak doing the rounds online. The iPhone 12 series is expected to launch sometime in October and will bring four new iPhones. As per the recent leak by a tipster on Twitter, Apple is readying to launch the iPhone 12 mini along with three other iPhones.
According to a post on Twitter, the smallest 5.4-inch iPhone 12 will debut as the iPhone 12 mini. It is expected to be joined by the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. In retrospect, Apple has used the term “mini” with the iPad, iPod and Mac, so it isn’t like the company isn’t familiar with that name. In all likelihood, it does seem entirely possible for Apple to introduce the iPhone 12 mini as that would help it differentiate from the iPhone SE 2020 and future iterations.

Apple iPhone 12 is rumoured to feature a 5.4-inch display with a smaller Face ID notch cutout on the front giving it a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. All the Apple is preparing to announce this year will feature OLED screens and will be powered by A14 Bionic chipset with 5G support.
Previous leaks have also hinted that the new iPhones for 2020 will be priced aggressively, with the iPhone 12 starting at $649. The iPhone 12 Max is expected to be priced starting at $749 while the other two models, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max are rumoured to come with triple camera setup along with a LiDAR sensor like the one on the recently launched iPad Pro. The iPhone 12 Pro could start from $999 while the larger 12 Pro Max is said to be priced at $1099.
