Which iPhones are discontinued?
When Apple introduces the next-generation iPhone lineup, it typically discontinues the previous-generation Pro variants. This year, the same thing happened: Apple discontinued the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. That’s not all; the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have been discontinued as well.
However, the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, and iPhone 16e will remain available for purchase through the Apple Store. The Apple iPhone 16 has also received a massive Rs 10,000 price cut. The iPhone 16 is now available for Rs 69,900 in the base trim. The iPhone 16 Plus receives the same Rs 10,000 discount.
Meanwhile, Apple has started the pre-orders for iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apple iPhone 17 series price starts at Rs 82,900 for the base 256GB iPhone 17 and goes up to Rs 2,29,900 for the top-end 2TB iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone Air begins at Rs 1,19,900, the iPhone 17 Pro at Rs 1,34,900, and the Pro Max at Rs 1,49,900. It will be available for public sale starting September 19.
Apple has also introduced the Watch Series 11, Watch SE 3, and Watch Ultra 3, along with the new AirPods Pro 3. These accessories are also available for pre-order on the Apple Store.
