Amazon India starts shipping the first batch of OnePlus 2 devices

After starting the sale on August 11, OnePlus 2 devices are being shipped to Indian users via Amazon India from today

OnePlus announced on their official blog that Amazon India will start shipping the first batch of OnePlus 2's from today. The retailer started selling the device from August 11 and it can be purchased from Amazon's website through invites.

Users who would have ordered it can expect it at their doorstep at anytime now. Recently, OnePlus had also auctioned the OnePlus 2 invites on eBay for charity. If you are thinking about getting an invite, you can request one by going to OnePlus' invites page. You can also request for a hands-on of the smartphone using the Ola Cabs app. At the moment, OnePlus has received more than 3 million invite requests.

You can request a OnePlus 2 invite by providing your email address on the invites page, but you will need to have a registered account with them to claim the invite. If you are interested in buying a OnePlus Two, then you can go to the website and get an account for free.

OnePlus 2 is the successor to OnePlus One, and comes with 5.5-inch FHD display, 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with Adreno 430 GPU, 4GB RAM, 13MP/5MP camera, and 3300mAh. It runs on OxygenOS layered on Android Lollipop. Currently, Amazon India is selling the 64GB variant of the device for Rs. 24,999, while the 16GB variant (with 3GB RAM) will be made available later.
