Airtel Online Store to sell Apple iPhone X starting November 3

Only Airtel postpaid subscribers will be able to buy the iPhone X. Customers can avail a cashback of Rs 10,000 if they buy the smartphone using a Citibank credit card.

Airtel has announced that the latest Apple flagship smartphone, the iPhone X, will be up for sale on its Online Store starting 6 PM on November 3. The smartphone will be available exclusively for Airtel postpaid customers as an unlocked device on a first come first serve, and on full payment basis. 

Airtel is also offering a Rs 10,000 cashback for customers purchasing the iPhone X using Citibank Credit Cards. Buyers will get the iPhone X delivered to their homes for free, but only in 21 cities across India where Airtel’s Online Store services are currently available. The smartphone is currently up for pre-orders and will be available via select online channels such as Amazon, Flipkart and now Airtel’s Online Store. 

Airtel said that their prepaid customers along with non-Airtel customers can upgrade to an Airtel postpaid connection to be eligible for the purchase and can choose from a range of plans that offer large bundles of high speed data and unlimited calling.

Our customers can also experience the seamless digital experience offered by Airtel’s Online Store from ordering the device to doorstep delivery. We are seeing some terrific customer response to our offerings on the Online Store and we are confident that iPhone X will only add to the momentum.”

The iPhone X will be available in India at a price of Rs 89,000 for the 64GB model and at Rs 1.02 lakh for the 256GB variant. It will be available in Space Grey and Silver colours. 

Apart from Airtel, Reliance Jio has a 70 percent buyback offer for its users on the purchase price of the iPhone X, if they return it within the assured buyback period. Jio subscribers will have to perform either a recharge of Rs 799 or above for a period of 12 consecutive months starting from the date of activation of the device, or perform a one time yearly recharge of Rs 9,999.
