HIGHLIGHTS

The primary camera on the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is going to be as similar on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, according to the report.

The 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP sensor will be the main camera in the future Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra if the tip source is to be trusted.

Galaxy S27 Ultra may have a little bigger 1/1.12-inch sensor compared to the 1/1.3-inch HP2 sensor.

The Galaxy S Ultra series' upcoming three iterations will use 200MP Samsung cameras. The most recent leak was made by Twitter tipster @Revegnus, who recently tweeted about the Samsung Galaxy S Ultra series camera roadmap.

The primary camera on the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is going to be as similar on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, according to the report. While the Galaxy S27 Ultra will have a 1/1.12-inch ISOCELL GN2 lens, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and S26 Ultra will have a new and enhanced 200MP sensor.

The primary camera specifications for the upcoming four iterations of the Galaxy S Ultra series flagships have been made public by @Revegnus. The 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP sensor will be the main camera in the future Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra if the tip source is to be trusted. Notably, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra first used this image sensor back in February 2023. The South Korean brand may implement software optimisations to boost camera performance even while the sensor will stay the same.

Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, the tipster claims that they will include the ISOCELL HP2 sensor's replacement. The 200MP resolution will remain in the camera lens, though.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra, the insider adds, will be the device to depart from the line of 200MP sensors. The tipper claims that the Galaxy S27 Ultra may have a little bigger 1/1.12-inch sensor compared to the 1/1.3-inch HP2 sensor. We can presume that the sensor is a revised version of the 1/1.12-inch Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor featured in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra even if the source withheld any additional information about it. Samsung is the only company that has not yet jumped on the 1-inch, 50MP camera sensor bandwagon, in contrast to its rivals.

According to the tip, the next-generation sensor is going to have an improved light receiver, possibly for use with sophisticated imaging techniques including nanophotonics and low-light imaging. Additionally, the tipper claimed that it might involve a world-first sensor constructed on a 17nm technology node.
