The Ideapad 530S series of laptops are the company’s premium offering, while the Ideapad 330S is aimed at college students.

Lenovo has launched its latest portfolio of thin and light Ideapad 530S and 330S laptops in India. The Ideapad 530S is priced starting at Rs 67,990, while the Ideapad 330S laptops start at Rs 35,990. Both series of laptops are aimed at delivering portable computing with high performance and extended battery life.

The Ideapad 530S is Lenovo’s premium offering which sports a complete metallic finish, supports Rapid Charge and features a three-sided narrow bezel on its 14-inch Full HD IPS display. On the other hand, the Ideapad 330S is aimed at college going students and is more affordable than the Ideapad 530S. It also features a metallic finish, but only for the lid. It comes in two display variants, one with a 14-inch screen and another with a 15.6-inch display, with both variants using a Full HD IPS panels.  

Both series of Ideapad laptops are powered by Intel’s latest 8th Generation processors. The Ideapad 530S comes with 512GB of SSD storage and the company says that it can deliver up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge. Also, the Rapid Charge feature on the laptop is said to top-up two hours of usage with 15 minutes of charging. It is 16.4mm thin, weighs 1.49 Kg and is equipped with Harman speakers that support Dolby audio. Other features of the device include a fingerprint sensor, backlit keyboard, faster data transfer with reversible Type C port and a dedicated 2GB Nvidia MX 150 GPU.

Coming to the Ideapad 330S, one can choose the laptop with a hard disk drive or a solid-state drive. It weighs 1.67Kg and the company says that it’s 24 percent lighter as compared to the traditional clamshell laptops which are priced the same. It also features a backlit keyboard and supports up to 4GB of dedicated graphics for gaming. The new portfolio of Lenovo laptops are available with the company’s Back To College offer. Under the offer, users can avail two years of additional warranty on their laptop, one year of Premium Care, one year of Accidental Damage Protection, along with gift vouchers.
