Announced at the acer@next event at IFA Berlin 2019, the Predator Triton 300 gaming notebook, a 300Hz display option for the Triton 500 gaming notebook, and the Predator Thronos Gaming Chair
Announced at the acer@next event at IFA Berlin 2019, the Predator Triton 300 gaming notebook is the latest in Acer's Triton line and the new entry-level gaming laptop to the series.
The Windows 10 powered Predator Triton 300 comes in a thin and lightweight body, weighing in at just 2.3 kg. Inside, you have up to a 9th gen Intel Core i7 processor paired with an Nvidia GTX GeForce 1650 GPU, with 16GB of DDR4 2666Hz RAM. For storage, the Triton 300 comes with up to two 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 and up to a 2 TB hard drive. It also comes with Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650 and Killer Ethernet.
The Triton 300 features 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display at 144Hz and 3ms overdrive response time. Audio is delivered with Waves Nx. The keyboard features zoned RGB lighting with dedicated Turbo and Predator Sense keys. The WASD and arrow keys, including other dedicated keys, are concave shaped and transparent.
The Predator Triton 500 is now available with a 300Hz 15.6-inch Full HD display. At 17.9mm thin and weighing just 2.1kg, it's also a slim notebook.
In addition to the new Triton 300 and the 300Hz option for the Triton 500, Acer also showcased their newest gaming "chair", the Predator Thronos Air. The gaming chair, or rather, gaming cave really, envelops the user in a cockpit like structure. The chair can be adjusted to various angles for comfort. There's even a massage function! In addition to a chair, the structure also includes a modular desk and monitor arm. The Thronos Air is capable of supporting up to three displays, the arm that holds the displays can be adjusted manually with a handle located below the monitor stand. You can also place a camera above the middle monitor, for your streaming and video calling needs.
You can set up your PC right behind the chair, with a cable management system set up to store away your cords and cables. Acer offers several more customization options as well, including a cup holder, USB hub and a camera.
The Predator Triton 300 will be available in India starting October 2019, prices have not been made available yet.
The Predator Triton 500 is available starting at Rs 1,65,999.
The Predator Thronos Air will be available in India from November 2019, price available upon request from Acer.
