To distinguish between Bard-generated visuals and human artwork, Bard uses SynthID to embed digitally identifiable watermarks into the pixels of generated images.

Google has put in place technical rules and invested in making sure training data is safe by restricting violent, offensive, or sexually explicit content. The tech giant also uses filters to prevent the generation of images featuring specific named individuals.

Now, let’s check out how you can generate images using the Bard chatbot.

How to generate images using Google Bard

Step 1: Open bard.google.com on your mobile or computer.

Step 2: Tap or click the Try Bard option.

Step 3: Now, accept the Terms and Privacy.

Step 4: Tap or click Continue.

Step 5: Enter the description of the image that you want to create.

Step 6: Tap the Send symbol or press enter.

It’s important to note that Bard’s ability to create images from text is currently only available in English. However, we can expect that this might change soon, and Google will likely bring this feature to other languages in the near future.
