ChatGPT can now remember your face to make viral AI Image trends

OpenAI is reportedly working on a new feature that can make creating AI images easier. Currently, if you wish to follow a viral social media trend, like wearing the Bollywood-like saree or creating the viral golden hour image, you need to upload your image again and again. This repetitive process can slow down your image generation and can be annoying at times. However, this new feature on ChatGPT will let you upload an image as a reference, and it will be saved within the app. You can then use the same photo to generate images anytime, eliminating the need to upload the image again and again.

The feature was recently spotted by Android Authority in the beta version of the ChatGPT Android app. It introduces an option called ‘Reference photo’, which appears to live inside the Memories section. Users will likely be able to pick an image from their gallery or take a fresh selfie and store it for future use. Once added, the image remains available and can also be replaced or deleted later.

As per the report, the feature is available to upload the image, and there is even an option to remove the image. This shows that the users will stay in control of their data. However, the feature does not yet fully work. While the users can currently upload the image as a reference, they cannot use it to generate images with it.

Once the feature is fully functional, it could make creating AI images much easier by removing one of the main difficulties. This would let people spend more time being creative and trying new ideas. Moreover, the feature may also encourage users to play around with different popular styles.
