CES 2020: Samsung’s Ballie is the cutest robot assistant out there
Samsung announced the Ballie at its Keynote presentation
The Ballie is a ball-shaped robot assistant
Samsung has not revealed when it will be available or how much it will cost
Ever wondered what a pet of the future would look like? Well, Samsung wants to answer that question with the announcement of the Ballie. A small ball-like robot, the Ballie is the answer to the companion of the future. The robot will follow you around and can also interact with your real-life pets and children as well. We don’t know how something like this will affect the future, but it certainly is worth looking at a robotic companion. The robot will be able to connect with smart devices as well.
At the Samsung Keynote presentation, the Ballie was unveiled by Samsung consumer electronics division CEO H.S. Kim. The Balliw even followed him around, using the onboard camera to track H.S Kim. It also rolled towards him when he called for it, showing us that it has voice recognition capabilities as well. As of right now, the Ballie seems more like a novelty more than an actual tool but this could change in the future. Other companies have also released similar robots but none of them have truly made the impact that they were hoping for.

There was no info as to when the Ballie will be available to the public nor was the price of the robot revealed. Also, remember that this could just be a conceptual project and may not even make it to the assembly line.
