Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis getting delayed?

The latest rumours come from content creators who claim to have heard from ‘ trusted sources’ close to Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, the studio assisting with development.

According to the creators, the game could make an appearance at Summer Game Fest in June this year. If that happens, there is a strong chance we will see a fresh trailer that not only showcases updated gameplay but also confirms a revised release date. Current rumoured date is February 12, 2027, although nothing is locked in yet.

If this delay turns out to be accurate, it could have a ripple effect on the broader franchise timeline. Reports suggest that Tomb Raider: Catalyst, which is the next main entry in the series, might also get pushed further down the road. Instead of arriving shortly after the remake, the game could now slip to a 2028 launch window. This would effectively space out major releases in the franchise, possibly giving the developers more time to refine both projects and avoid overlap.
