The ultimate PS5 FAQ is now live
HIGHLIGHTS

Sony has released the ultimate PS5 FAQ.

The blog post aims to answer every possible question you may have about Sony’s upcoming console.

The blog post doesn’t answer when the console will launch in India.

The PS5 is launching in 2 days in the US, 9 days internationally and there is still no information about when the console will come to India. Apart from India launch date of the PS5, if you have any other question about the upcoming console, then Sony has the ultimate FAQ around the PS5. This page aims to answer any question you may have about the upcoming console.

The FAQ starts with the console price and release date, but as expected, India isn't a part of this list. While we do know the price of the console in India, we still have no information about the release date. On the other hand, the Xbox Series X and S go on sale in India today, November 10 along with the rest of the world.

The FAQ is targeted at answering the most basic questions as well as ensuring consumers are fully aware of what the console has to offer. It gives a detailed description of the difference between the PS5 regular and the Digital Edition, even addressing the question if there are graphical differences between the two.

Even though unboxing videos of the PS5 are live, the FAQ highlights the contents of the box. According to the blog, the PS5 will come with the following:

  • The PS5 console or PS5 Digital Edition console
  • One DualSense wireless controller
  • USB Type-C to Type A charging cable for the DualSense wireless controller
  • HDMI cable (compatible with Ultra High Speed defined by HDMI v2.1)

While the blog doesn’t highlight anything to do with interchangeable faceplates, it does confirm that in the future, other DualSense controller colours will be available. But not at launch. So, if you were hoping for an all-black DualSense controller, know that it is a few months away.
