Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has been in development for several years, and every update from Rockstar Games is treated like a major event. In May 2025, the gaming world was surprised by the sudden release of GTA 6’s second trailer, which quickly went viral.

GTA 6 story and gameplay
GTA 6 will follow the adventures of two main characters, Jason and Lucia. About the plot, Rockstar shared: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
GTA 6 characters
Alongside Jason and Lucia, the game will feature several new characters. Confirmed names include Boobie Ike, Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista, and Real Dimez.

GTA 6 map and setting
GTA 6 will take players to the vibrant streets of Vice City and beyond. According to Rockstar, it will be “the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”

The game is scheduled to release on May 26, 2026. In India, the standard edition is expected to cost around Rs 5,999, while special editions may be priced at Rs 7,299 or higher.
GTA 6 expected system requirements
While Rockstar has not shared official PC requirements yet, leaks suggest that players may need at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, a GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card, 8GB of RAM, and around 150GB of free storage.
