Gamers got an exciting surprise in May when Rockstar Games dropped the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) on YouTube without prior notice. The trailer quickly went viral, with fans sharing clips across Instagram, X and other social media platforms. Viewers were impressed by the game’s stunning graphics, intense car chases, and glimpses of new characters.

GTA 6 story and gameplay
The next GTA title will follow two main characters, Jason and Lucia. Rockstar describes the plot as: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

Besides Jason and Lucia, the game will feature several new characters. So far, confirmed names include Boobie Ike, Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista and Real Dimez.

According to Rockstar, the next GTA title will take players to “the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
GTA 6 launch date and expected price in India
GTA 6 is officially set to release on May 26, 2026. In India, the standard edition is expected to be priced at around Rs 5,999, while special editions could cost Rs 7,299 or more.
GTA 6 expected system requirements
Rockstar hasn’t confirmed the official PC requirements yet, but leaks suggest that players might require at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, a GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card, 8GB of RAM, and about 150GB of storage.
