GTA 6’s launch has been pushed from May to November 2026 for further polishing.
The game will feature the first-ever female lead, Lucia, and a Vice City-inspired map set in Leonida.
Expected system requirements include an Intel i7-8700K/AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 8GB RAM, and 150GB storage.
While the fans were waiting for the next GTA 6 trailer, Rockstar Games has dropped something, and that is not good news. The maker has officially unveiled that GTA 6 will be delayed by another few months, stretching into November. The company stated that this additional time will allow the developers to finish the game with the ‘level of polish’ that we expect and deserve. While the details about availability, pre-orders, price, system requirements, maps, and more are not confirmed yet, here is everything that we know so far.

The GTA 6 will now launch on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Earlier, the game was confirmed to debut on May 26, 2026. The leaks suggested that the game will first debut on the consoles and will be followed by the PC version.

So far, Rockstar Games has published two GTA 6 trailers. Both of them got millions of views with fans praising the graphics, gameplay, storyline, and more. Recently, rumours have suggested that Rockstar Games will drop the GTA 6 trailer next month. However, nothing is confirmed yet, especially after the delay that has been announced.
GTA 6 system requirements
According to reports, the minimum PC specifications required to run GTA 6 may include an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. Players will also need at least 8GB of RAM, 150GB of available storage, Windows 10, and DirectX 12 support.

GTA 6 is set to feature the franchise’s first-ever female protagonist, Lucia, as part of a multi-character storyline similar to GTA 5. The game is expected to offer more lifelike characters, enhanced police chase mechanics, and refined stealth elements. Rockstar is also reportedly expanding the digital systems within the game, making heists, missions, and other activities more strategic and immersive.
The map in GTA 6 will reportedly be set in the state of Leonida, inspired by Florida, bringing back the nostalgic essence of Vice City with upgraded visuals, a larger interactive world, and smoother, more dynamic gameplay.
GTA 6 price, pre-orders
GTA 6 is expected to be the most expensive game by Rockstar, with an advanced edition pricing likely over Rs 10,000. The standard variant is said to be priced at around Rs 6,000. It must be noted that there is no official word about the pre-orders.
