BGMI 4.5 update turns your maps into the Hidden Leaf Village
The collaboration will be available from July 16 to September 14 as part of the BGMI Version 4.5 update. During this period, Erangel and Livik will get a Naruto-inspired makeover with several iconic locations from the anime making their way into the game.
Krafton India, in a press release, announced that players will be able to visit the Hidden Leaf Village, explore Naruto’s apartment, stop by the famous Ichiraku Ramen Shop, train at the Ninja Academy, and fight across legendary locations including Hokage Rock, the Valley of the End, the Great Naruto Bridge, and the Chunin Exam Arena. Krafton India has also added hidden underground rooms and redesigned parts of existing maps to match the anime’s look and feel.
The update also brings several cinematic moments inspired by the series. For instance, you will be able to witness Naruto and Sasuke’s final battle at the Valley of the End, experience a special Naruto-themed in-flight sequence before every match, take group photos with anime-inspired backdrops, enjoy Naruto-themed lobby music, and visit the Kurama Memory Space.
New jutsu, Kurama boss battle and exclusive rewards
The collaboration is not limited to map changes. BGMI players will also get access to several signature ninja techniques from the anime. These include Naruto’s Rasengan, Sasuke’s Chidori, Flying Raijin Jutsu, Great Fireball Jutsu, Shadow Clone Jutsu, Earth Style Mud Wall, and even the rare Reanimation Jutsu that can bring teammates back into the fight.
And that is not all. You can also use the Tailed Beast Cloak for enhanced combat abilities and perform the iconic Ninja Run.
Other limited-time game modes include the Nine-Tails Special Match, Valley of the End solo duels, and Defend Konoha mode. Krafton is also introducing voice-activated ninjutsu, allowing you to trigger certain abilities using voice commands.
Apart from the gameplay additions, the update also brings a large collection of Naruto-themed cosmetics and rewards. The Naruto Gold Spin includes outfits such as Naruto Sage Mode and Naruto Six Paths Mode, along with the upgradeable Nine-Tails Fury AUG weapon skin. Players can also unlock exclusive rewards through the Naruto Mini Royale Pass, while collectibles such as Kurama, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and the Blazing Sun Karambit Card will also be available during the event.
