The film follows the life of Rehaan “Ray” Mehra, played by Kartik Aaryan. Ray is a successful wedding planner based in Los Angeles and runs his company, Hitched Forever, with his strong and independent single mother, Pinky Mehra, played by Neena Gupta. Ray’s life takes an unexpected turn during a luxury yacht cruise in Croatia.
On this trip, he meets Rumi Vardhan (Ananya Panday), an aspiring novelist from Agra who is travelling alone before attending her sister’s wedding. Rumi is a true believer of old-school 90s Bollywood romance, while Ray prefers modern relationships and casual dating. Despite their very different views on love, the two slowly connect. Over ten days, their bond deepens.
