Netflix has confirmed the final season of Stranger Things will debut in 2025. While the exact release date is yet to be officially announced, rumours hint that the fifth season of Stranger Things will be released in two parts. The first six episodes is expected to arrive on October 10, and the remaining two episodes could be released on November 27.

Stranger Things season 5 episodes
Stranger Things season 5 is set in the fall of 1987 and will feature eight episodes. Netflix has revealed every title except part of Episode 2.

Stranger Things season 5 cast
Our core Hawkins crew will be back, but several new characters will be joining the Stranger Things universe. New cast members include Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly and Alex Breaux. In a major casting highlight, The Terminator star Linda Hamilton is also joining the final season Speaking at Netflix’s 2023 Tudum event, she said, “I don’t know how to be a fangirl and an actress at the same time.”

Stranger Things season 5 what to expect
The Duffer Brothers have already sketched out the whole ending. They even built a 25-page document that breaks down the Upside Down’s deepest secrets. During Geeked Week in 2022, Ross Duffer revealed, “The last remaining questions that are answered in that document, we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in season 5.” “And that’s really going to affect what season 5 is about.”
